Team
I was part of a Mohara team consisting of three developers, a project manager, a project owner, and myself as a the lead product designer.
The Challenge
MUOV specializes in advanced stationary bikes that replicate the natural feel of outdoor cycling through innovative technology like tilting, steering, electronic shifting, and virtual braking. These features create a realistic and immersive indoor experience. Our goal for this project was to develop a “Free Ride” option, allowing users to focus solely on viewing and tracking their metrics without engaging with the 3D environment.

User Flows
MUOV had already established the user flows for the platform. However, we needed to determine how the “Free Ride” feature would integrate with the existing system.

Initial Wireframes
Using our established design library, we transitioned smoothly to high-fidelity designs, ensuring the new feature aligned with the platform’s minimalistic and user-friendly approach.

High Fidelity
The initiation of wireframing commenced only after mapping out the user flows. Our website design approach involved minimizing components to maintain repeatability. This not only eased the engineering process but also prevented the client from being overwhelmed with an excessive array of section options when constructing pages in the future.

Learnings
One key insight: riders who skip the immersive environment still demand structure, clarity and flexibility. Moving forward, I’ll prioritise customisation earlier in the flow so users personalise their dashboard before the ride begins.

Creating a Unique UX Framework
We designed Nutrion™ to serve both individuals and health professionals, creating a tailored experience that bridges personal tracking and professional insight. The app enables patients to monitor and seamlessly share their metrics, while a dedicated platform empowers health professionals to review.

Designing a Connected Health Ecosystem
We guided the creation of Alivion’s brand identity - from defining its mood and values to building a cohesive visual language. In close collaboration with the team, we developed a design system that embodies their personality and mission, turning abstract ideas into concrete elements.
